Using powerful signal tuning and detailed setup, it offers stable and fast networking. Originally I was on the DD WRT build that is listed in the router database on the main DDWRT website. I have to use that build for years and never had any issues with my 150 Mbps. It wasn't until now that I have gigabit speeds from Comcast that I'm having issues with my router. After switching ISP (their fiber gateway has both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet ports) I finally found why my R6400v2 was performing so bad. The R6400v2 when connected to a Gigabit port download speeds are capped to sub 1 mbps speeds while upload is unaffected, connecting it to the Fast Ethernet port fixes the problem and gives me consistent download speeds (50/50 mbps) even with QoS enabled. I am really interested in purchasing this router, but I have a concern that it can't handle a 1 Gbps connection.
