Hm, maybe you could move the check to when you actually connect to a VPN (when pressing "Connect"). Before you don't actually interact with the service anyways? Delaying the login is no option for me.

This issue has been resolved in the SonicWALL Global VPN Client version 4.0.0 or newer. NOTE: If the issue persists after the upgrade, follow these steps: 1. Uninstall Global VPN Client using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. 2. Reboot. 3. Run the Global VPN Client cleaner tool to remove the Deterministic Networks (DNE) driver.
