Apr 26, 2019 · Easy, I thought – we just need that QR code which adds OpenVPN into the Google Authenticator app, and he’ll be back up and running. Wrong. It seems that once the user is up and running, becuase Authenticator is tied to the device, it still thinks it’s ready for action on the old device, and so there is no way to display the original QR code. As an aside, the GoogleAuthRegen command also generates on the command line a string with otpauth:// URI format that can be used in a QR code generator. Of course in the client web service the Access Server already does this for the user, but this could be some use for customized process automation. How to download OpenVPN for Android using QR Code? This will prompt you for a password for the user, display the QR code needed to register the smartphone, and if you have mutt installed and configured to send outbound emails, send the ovpn file
