edit: I downloaded the transmission-openvpn docker files and placed them on the qnap via WinSCP. Once again I'm being blocked as I can't cd into the directory. It could have something to do with removing Windows CR as described here I'm not exactly a linux command line guru.

On the Qnap (TS 431p, an ARM machine) a transmission should run permanently, which can be fed with torrent via web interfaces (in the local network) and where the traffic leaves the machine exclusively via OpenVPN.

Though Download Station is great, I think it’s simpler to right click on a link and do a selection instead of copy and pasting a URL to a web interface.
